ACT.7 is farewell through power. Confident, mature, and emotionally sharpened, the album captures 4Minute at their most controlled and self-aware, delivering one final statement of strength before disbandment. It’s refined, impactful… but painfully short.
Sonically, the record blends electro-pop, dance-pop, hip-hop, EDM, and dark synth influences with sleek, modern production. The sound is cohesive, intense, and polished, balancing aggression with elegance. Every track feels purposeful, but the limited tracklist prevents the album from fully expanding its atmosphere.
Lyrically, ACT.7 centers on dominance, independence, desire, confidence, emotional boundaries, and self-assertion. The writing is direct and empowered, positioning the group in full control of their narrative. HyunA’s presence anchors the album with authority, but all members shine in tone and delivery.
The 4-star rating reflects high quality with one major limitation: length. Artistically, the album is strong, cohesive, and emotionally controlled, but its brevity prevents deeper development and long-term immersion. It feels more like a powerful closing chapter than a complete final novel.
ACT.7 stands as a strong and dignified farewell. Fierce, polished, and emotionally resolute, it confirms 4Minute ending their career at a creative peak, even if fans are left wanting much more.
