Guilty Pleasure is pop-rock liberation done with conviction. Loud, playful, and self-aware, the album captures Ashley Tisdale finally shedding expectations and leaning into confidence. It’s not chasing prestige, it’s choosing freedom, and that choice powers the entire record. Sonically, the album thrives on pop-rock and power-pop energy: big guitars, explosive choruses, and a late-2000s radio punch that still hits. The production favors attitude over polish, letting momentum and personality lead. Lyrically, Guilty Pleasure celebrates desire, independence, and emotional release. There’s flirtation and vulnerability, but the tone stays buoyant and unapologetic. Ashley sounds present and liberated, embracing imperfection as part of the fun. The reason it lands at 4.5 (more 4.8) stars instead of five is consistency. While the highs are cult-classic worthy, a few tracks feel more era-specific than essential. Still, the album’s clarity of purpose and enduring charm keep it firmly in classic territory. Guilty Pleasure remains a joyful, defiant statement and powerful in its personality. Favorite Track: I’m Back Skip Track: - Disclaimer: This Is my opinion based on personal taste and emotions. The skip tracks are not bad songs but just songs that are less memorable.
