Recent reviews

Childstar is Danna’s most self-aware and confrontational project to date: a sharp, confident reclaiming of identity from the weight of early fame. The album doesn’t seek sympathy; it demands recognition. It’s pop as autobiography, filtered through irony, control, and unapologetic confidence.

Sonically, Childstar is sleek, modern, and international. Latin pop, electro-pop, and club-ready production blend seamlessly, creating a sound that feels bold without being chaotic. The album balances polish with attitude, allowing Danna’s voice and persona to remain front and center.

Lyrically, the project is striking in its clarity. Danna confronts exploitation, autonomy, desire, and self-definition with directness and intelligence. There’s vulnerability here, but it’s armored; pain is acknowledged, then transformed into power. The writing feels intentional, not reactive.

What earns Childstar 4.75 stars is its concept and execution. Every track reinforces the central theme: rewriting the narrative of growing up in the spotlight. The album is cohesive, assertive, and emotionally intelligent, proving Danna’s control over both her story and her sound.

Childstar isn’t about escaping the past but it’s about owning it.

Disclaimer: This Is my opinion based on personal taste and emotions.

The skip tracks are not bad songs but just songs that are less memorable.
