Recent reviews

Hey hey hey what is going on in this beautiful Tuesday, did I just do an intro? Yes I did, anyways today’s review is going to be about Entergalactic by one of my personal favorite artists, Scott Mescudi aka Kid Cudi. This project takes a way different approach from the albums he’s released prior to this one because this one has a more laidback tone, sort of taking the same route that Man On The Moon 3 did but this one is a bit different because it’s more of an r&b album rather than a rap or rock style album. It stands out in a good way, it’s a part of a movie soundtrack and man the movie experience was amazing, Kid Cudi did good both on the movie and on the soundtrack, that’s how versatile he is, he can do multiple styles of music and other forms of arts and entertainment. This album takes a more vocal style with r&b production and more relaxing vocals, a style that Kid Cudi isn’t too familiar with so we can sort of call this an experimental album but maybe that’s a stretch. There are so many songs on the track list that I think are nearly perfect, “Can’t Shake Her” with Ty Dolla $ign is an example of this, it’s an overall chill song that brings a good vibe to it with Kid Cudi’s deep and relaxing voice alongside Ty Dolla $ign, both artists put on an amazing vocal performance. This album and the movie itself are both incredibly underrated, they definitely deserve more love.
