I felt pretty divided by this album at first but I think it deserves at least an 8/10. My favourite parts about the album were the more upbeat songs, specifically the explosive start and end. As well as some other standout tracks to me such as Monkey Man and Live with Me. There were some lyrics that I didn’t enjoy so much like in Live with Me but the musicality of the song was enjoyable so it redeemed it self. I think I just don’t like Country Honk at all tho. I love the theme of embracing chaos and the grimy nature of the band but I think it just fell short on a couple of songs. I also like the idea of some sounding like they are just drunk at a country bar but I don’t think I would come back to those songs too much.
