My favourite song on this is Sweet Thing and I don’t like much else on the album. All the songs feel drawn out too long and like they are just repeating the same lines over and over. I only really gave it 2.5 stars because I can appreciate the songwriting but as an album all the songs just blend together and nothing surprises me. Also I’m not really a fan of folk music in general. I think I like sweet thing because it’s very structured with a hi hat beat and has the descending strings motif and is pretty rememberable.
