Huge step up from reputation…I did not like reputation at all so this was an insane pivot in the right direction, I wish she would return to this dreamy, romantic style that I really liked here, I would actually go as far as saying that this is one of her best albums. It focuses more on the soothing and peaceful atmosphere rather than the vocals which she still does pull of a great vocal performance I just think the atmosphere of the album is better. This is an amazing project with not only good vocals but the instrumentation was incredible. The lyricism is a bit corny though, it feels like a breath of fresh air from the rest of her discography and actually doesn’t feel bland. It’s a sweet and nice album to sum it all up.
