Olivia Rodrigo ate with this debut album, like what do you mean every song was tiktokified but still are relatable ? (Justice for hope ur ok btw which is the most beautiful song on this freaking good album)
However, this album isn’t perfect. While it describes perfectly teenage experiences with insecurities, love and heartbreak, this project is weak sometimes. For example, I never understood the interpolation of « New Year’s Day » in 1 step forward and 3 steps back, it adds nothing to the song. Sometimes the album is a bit redondant too, but it’s normal for a debut album.
