Lyrically, Eternal Sunshine explores memory, detachment, boundaries, and self-protection. Ariana writes with maturity and distance, revisiting pain without reopening wounds. The emotions are present, but filtered through awareness, this is healing without spectacle. The reason the album lands at 4.5 stars instead of five is impact. While the cohesion is impeccable and the concept fully realized, the album favors atmosphere over standout moments. Some tracks blend into the same emotional shade, making the experience beautiful but slightly less piercing than her most devastating work. Still, Eternal Sunshine stands as a refined and confident chapter in Ariana Grande’s discography; elegant, controlled, and emotionally intelligent. It doesn’t need to hurt loudly to matter. The skip tracks are not bad songs but just songs that are less memorable.

very retrospective and the songwriting is some of ariana’s best. mixed genres well with a variety of different emotions and messages spread throughout.

This was a grower for me. Loved the intro for yes, and? but the melody belongs in Hairspray. We can’t be friends and supernatural are personal faves.
