Not sure how to describe it but from start to finish the project has a consistent thematic sound, hard to really know if it’s intended or just because it follows certain formulaic conventions and/or had limited sounds. The track order feels surprisingly well considered with interludes like This Fleeting Feeling followed by Swinging in His Cell which isn’t very heavy which breaks up the listening experience nicely. I’m sure if the PlayStation 2 start up audio makes you ruminate and lament this is right up your alley.
