Her most stripped back and focused album yet. Definitely one of, if not her best imo.

Can Mac miller seriously not go more than like two tracks without mentioning the name of the mixtape/album 😭

Definitely my fav project from Ari so far, I think there are a few songs here that kind of let the rest of the album down but overall it’s a really solid, empowering and fun listen. I have been told that it’s her best album but I’m really interested to see how she develops her sound from here.

This mixtape is so optimistic and it’s nice to hear Mac so happy knowing that later in his career that’s not as common. Unfortunately a lot of the songs are pretty similar and the beats can be pretty bland. Those first three tracks tho 👀

Easily my favourite Death Grips project. Really caught me off guard and personally I actually preferred the first half slightly.

Interestingly, despite the impact this had on Steve’s career I think this is probably his weakest work (album-wise).

I know I’m in like a super definite 100% tiny minority here but… I liked this more than Songs For The Deaf. I know, I’m shocked too. Despite the demand to simply replicate their last hit instead the high octane thrill of their last album is traded for a more moody and dark sound. Don’t get me wrong there are still plenty of heavy hitting tracks here. I’m glad they tried their hardest not to just do what people wanted because as much as I love Songs For The Deaf it just wouldn’t have been interesting. My favourite album by them so far and now I am entirely positive it can’t get better than this for me.

Soooo good. By far their best project yet and I find it hard to believe they could top anything off this. I love the theme of the album and their style feels like it’s become fully fleshed out in this album.

I’m actually blown away by how unknown this guy is. This is so up my alley and I think I’ve found a new favourite artist.

Never heard anything of GDP before and I’m amazed. Limousine is frustratingly not on spotify so I had to listen to it on Youtube but it slaps and I NEED to listen to them more. Parking Garage luckily is on spotify so that wasn’t a problem.

I thought that Rose was going to be the best The Front Bottoms could offer but then this comes along. Wolfman is definitely my favourite Front Bottoms song right now and Handcuffs is incredible too.

I’m amazed by this. Loved this so much and definitely my favourite project from them so far by a long shot.

I was not expecting to love this so much more than fishmonger. The atmosphere of this one feels more moody and almost autumnal and I love it. The rock influences blend so well with the pop and it just scratches an itch in my brain.

Gives me a lot of hope for the rest of the discography. Very good debut.

Definitely an improvement over No Love Deep Web and something a bit different.

This album is one of the reasons I got into music. I won’t forget the first time I heard this.

Pretty good debut. Very strong start with the vocals which I’d say are the main draw of the album. Some of the songs feel a bit samey but generally it’s a pretty varied and vibey pop album.

I actually don’t think this album is as good as their last. At times I can see improvements but overall I think their self titled album is better.

Classic album by one of my favourite artists (easily my favourite soul artist). I love the messages and it’s just such a vibe. Never stops feeling uplifting.

Not as good as Ants From Up There but I wasn’t expecting it to be. A lot of this works but some of it is a little off to me.

I am not the same person I was before listening to this album the first time.

I still can never decide whether I prefer this or the original. I do like the darker atmosphere of II and they’re both some of my favourite albums. The features on here are incredible too.

Normally albums put all the best songs at the start to get you hooked and then start to fall off a bit. Not the case with this album. It just keeps getting better. I think I get the hype now.

Some of the flows on this are crazy, that and the production make for a really addictive and classic mixtape. I come back to this every summer and it does not disappoint. RIP

This album is great and just the vibe I was looking for. Didn’t even know who these guys were until I looked at the Genius page for the song Bottom by McCafferty and after hearing this it sounds like he just completely copied them. I was also expecting this band to be a lot older. All in all I enjoyed this loads more than I was expecting and the entire thing is about to be in my rotation.

So mad that Exmilitary isn’t on Spotify, at least I have this. I wasn’t planning on reviewing it but it autoplayed after The Money store so I might as well.

Such a great album, was so blown away the first time I heard it. Unfortunately it’s still the only Death Grips album I’ve listened to in full so I need to listen to the rest.

This started off really great and gave me a lot of hope but then didn’t quite live up to it. A few of the songs here are just really repetitive. I did really like how it felt like the tracks were connected. Still a surprisingly good album considering it’s their first.

Listened in the car on the way to the Orthodontist. I could probably sing this album word for word. Cudi is a goat and somehow still underrated. Been one of my favourite albums since I first heard it. Cudi does not get enough credit.

I knew this was gonna be good but I didn’t think it was gonna be this good. Been on loop since it dropped. Makes me feel like I’m in love. Maybe this rating is a bit high but it wouldn’t feel right if I gave it anything else.
