You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love is an amazing album, and I loved it very much.

From listening to it, I can tell Olivia Rodrigo grew as an artist sonically, however, the lyrics weren’t that great. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it just left me wondering how she’s going to improve the lyrics in her next albums.

(Some lyrics on the album were great, absolutely, but none of them really stuck with me. Looking back at GUTS, the lyrics were more memorable.)

I am officially not allowed to listen to this album until I die.

I love how Phoebe is one of the only artists that expresses missing an estranged partner, while knowing they didn’t deserve to be in it.

BEST POP ALBUM EVER !!

As of now, I have seen Lorde perform three times all in a span of eight months. She is an incredible performer, and I love how free she is on that stage.

I am honestly at a loss for words that could’ve described just how much I love this album. I will never forget when I heard Supercut for the first time in Someone Great, unaware that it would change my entire life.

My favourite song on the album is Perfect Places because it constantly reminds me of what it’s like to be a teen (even though I literally am one), and how exhausting it can be to search for something you don’t even know what you’re looking for.

Hearing Green Light is definitely a core memory for me.

Her worst album. Just everything about it felt so rushed, like, she just had to release one album not even a year after The Eras Tour ended. To me, it was like she scrapped something together, just so she wouldn’t lose momentum.

Which is disappointing, considering she could’ve put ten other (and better) vault tracks.

The aesthetics of the album didn’t really make sense, considering there’s only one song on the entire record about The Life Of A Showgirl. I also really dislike the cover, it’s so awkward. I wished she used any other alternative CD cover for the main cover.

After the release of *The Tortured Poets Department—*an album that saved my soul—I expected more from Mrs. Swift. But I guess that’s more on me than her.

I’d like to point out one thing that really bothered me while listening to the album. During The Fate Of Ophelia one lyric is

“'Tis locked inside my memory / And only you possess the key”

which is a quote that Ophelia says to her brother in Act 3 of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Swift flips the concept of the quote to make it about a romantic partner.

I honestly doubted that Noah Kahan would make a record better than Stick Season. Though, I guess, it is the Noah Kahan we’re talking about, a man who surpassed himself with each work of art he’s released.

I love how all the songs have different meanings, storylines, and characters, but joined together they still form an incredibly unique, strong, and beautiful story.

Arguably, the best song on the album is Willing and Able, however, my favourite song has got to be Dashboard. As someone who has dreamt of leaving my hometown and never looking back, this song taught me how my family and friends might perceive me once I leave.

Look at you, crossing state lines with your shadow, tryna run away, change your zipcode, turns out you’re still an asshole.

This album (among many) has changed my entire life. I would just like to thank Noah for being so vulnerable in his work, and let others see that it’s okay to feel the way we do.
