Lyrically, Following explores autonomy, allure, emotional distance, and self-definition. The writing is concise and declarative, letting delivery and tone carry meaning. HyunA sounds composed and assured, choosing presence over intensity.

The 4-star rating reflects a solid, cohesive statement that values consistency and mood. While it doesn’t reach the iconic immediacy of A Talk or the bold punch of Melting, it succeeds in refinement and replayable atmosphere.
