Finishing 2025, this is easily my AOTY. It’s been 3 months and I keep going back to it, I’ve had phases with almost every song, and I still find it gets better with every listen. A modern classic for sure.

I have finally come around to giving this album a 10. There is not a single track I would rate below a 9, and I believe JID proves himself to be the only rapper this decade on the level of a Kendrick or Andre 3000. The opening song Radar encapsulates everything perfect about this album - the range of flows, the beat switches, the lyrics and the creativity. You can really tell that JID puts time into his craft and cares about each and every song he makes. Kody Blu 31 also showcases his incredible singing which I hope we hear more of. On this listen, I realised this is easily my rap album of the decade. Although it’s only on the extended edition, I consider 2007 to be the albums conclusion and even the best song - similarly to Saint Pablo on TLOP. Praying his upcoming album is just as good 🙏🏽
