I FEEL is irony as empowerment. Playful, confident, and sharply self-aware, the album captures (G)I-DLE embracing satire, self-love, and femininity with intelligence and charisma. It’s bright on the surface, but conceptually precise underneath.
Sonically, the record blends pop, electro-pop, hip-hop, trap influences, and retro touches with colorful, punchy production. Hooks are immediate, choruses are addictive, and the sound constantly shifts between sweetness and attitude. While stylistically diverse, the album maintains strong identity and momentum.
Lyrically, I FEEL explores ego, self-image, empowerment, fame, femininity, and emotional independence. The writing is bold and personality-driven, often mixing confidence with irony and commentary. Soyeon’s narrative control gives the album clarity and sharp conceptual focus.
The 4-star rating reflects high replay value, strong singles, and excellent concept execution. The album shines in attitude, cohesion, and cultural impact, even if a few tracks feel lighter and less emotionally deep compared to their darker projects. Still, its balance of fun and intelligence elevates it.
I FEEL stands as one of (G)I-DLE’s most entertaining and self-aware eras. Bright, clever, and confidently feminine, it proves they can dominate both concept and pop appeal with ease.
